In response to reports that Acer Taiwan will lay off 10% of its personnel, president Towny Huang for Acer Taiwan regional operations on September 29 clarified that Acer Taiwan's average contribution per employee was found to be 10-20% lower than competitors' and therefore it will propose measures to hike contributions.
